The Houston Aortic Symposium: Frontiers in Cardiovascular Disease, the Sixteenth in the Series will present and discuss diagnosis and treatment paradigms for aortic and structural heart diseases, including medical, endovascular, surgical, and hybrid options. The Symposium Chairmen and Program Directors designed the 2024 scientific program by consulting current peer-reviewed literature, national data and guidelines, accredited education needs assessment surveys, and evaluation outcomes from previous symposia in the series. Session topics will include Structural Heart, Aortic Root/BAV, Ascending Aorta, Transverse Arch, Abdominal Aorta & Iliacs, Acute Aortic Syndrome, DTAAs/TAAAs and Chronic Dissections, and TAAA.
A special group rate of $246 plus taxes per night is available for meeting participants at The Westin Oaks Hotel through February 28th, or as space allows. Please visit the symposium hotel page for more details and to make your reservation online.
This symposium is designed for vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, perfusionists, and other health care professionals involved in the care and treatment of patients with aortic diseases.
Claiming your Certificate & CME Reporting: Meeting attendees will be asked to complete a post-symposium online evaluation to claim their CME/CEU credit and request reporting through the ABIM, ABS, ABTS, and CME Passport, if desired. Certificates will be emailed to those who complete the evaluation within two weeks of submission. You will receive more information about this process via email before and after the symposium, in the course handouts, and in the online meeting syllabus.
