Accreditation & Claiming Your CME & Reporting

CME/CE Accreditation & Designation

Complete the CME evaluation

Complete the evaluation linked above to claim your CME and reporting for the course. You will receive your certificate via email within 2 weeks of submission.

Physicians:
Promedica International is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Promedica International designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses:
The California BRN will accept AMA PRA Category 1™ credit toward license recertification. Nurses will choose this category of credit for their certificate. Review the CA BRN continuing education requirements here.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME for purposes of recertification. The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certified Program (AANPCP) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) also accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Perfusionists:
The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) has approved a total of 19.7 Category 1 CEUs for perfusionists for Thursday, January 30 (9.6), and Friday, January 31 (10.1).

Physician Assistants:
NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME. View NCCPA’s guidelines for CME here.

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS):
CCI does not approve CEUs directly, however CCI will accept CEUs that have already been approved by accredited sponsors of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). RCIS attendees will claim the physician certificate option when completing the online evaluation and can use that certificate to claim CEUs from CCI. Click for more information from CCI.

ABIM MOC Accreditation:

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 16.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points and Patient Safety MOC credits in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
