As surgery and percutaneous coronary interventions move closer and closer together, the interventionalist of the future will treat the entire arterial tree - coronary, peripheral and cerebral. New techniques and approaches, now being developed in Europe, South America and the Far East, as well as in major American centers, will soon be part of mainstream practice in America. This worldwide cooperation shows that, as in other areas, interventional cardiology has become a global discipline.
The scientific program for the 26th Anniversary celebration is currently being formulated. Check back often for updates on the detailed agenda, which will be posted right here.
